Who we are
Welcome to the riverview workshops
A collaborative environment where woodworkers of all skill levels share tools, techniques, and the shared passion for craftsmanship. We foster a grounded, tactile community that celebrates the beauty of the craft.
Born from five decades of expertise in design and master craftsmanship, Rick Yorde founded The Riverview Workshops to bridge the gap between tradition and the future of making.
Â
We have evolved from a private professional studio into a premier hub for fabrication, located within the historic 500,000 square foot Bridgeport Art Center.
Â
Our members enjoy a top-tier workspace featuring 24/7 secure access, industrial loading docks, and river views, all designed to support creative autonomy and high-end artisanal work.
Â
Whether you are a seasoned pro or a motivated beginner, our doors are open to those with a genuine passion for the craft.
Â
Rick’s background in teaching ensures that every member finds the mentorship and resources they need to thrive. At TRW, we provide more than just tools and space; we offer a supportive community where your drive to create is celebrated. Join us and turn your vision into reality in a space built by makers, for makers.
